Beaulieu, home of National Motor Museum, joins accelerating demand for iplicit’s accounting software

One of the UK’s favourite visitor attractions has chosen the award-winning accounting software system iplicit as the platform to handle its finances.

Beaulieu Enterprises Ltd operates Beaulieu, which is home to the world-famous National Motor Museum featuring a collection of more than 280 vehicles, from Land Speed Record breakers to oddities such as a giant orange on wheels.

As well as the museum, a ticket to the New Forest attraction includes a visit to the Montagu family’s ancestral home, Palace House, and the remains of the 13th century Beaulieu Abbey, as well as its adventure play area, Little Beaulieu. With something for everyone, it provides a great day out for the family.

Based within the Beaulieu Estate, Beaulieu Enterprises also looks after the historic maritime village of Buckler’s Hard and a busy marina and boatyard based on the Beaulieu River.

iplicit will help streamline a finance operation which embraces commercial trading entities and a charity, the National Motor Museum Trust.

Tim Coles, Senior Account Executive at iplicit, said: “It’s a huge pleasure to see Beaulieu Enterprises joining the growing list of famous iplicit customers.

“A busy and dynamic visitor attraction like Beaulieu needs to manage transactions across a host of sites and revenue streams, and across commercial and charitable entities. iplicit can make this drastically simpler and save large amounts of staff time.

“What’s more, iplicit makes it easier to slice and dice the data from all these sources, putting real-time information about costs and revenue into the hands of the people who need it.”

Dean Daniels, Financial Director at Beaulieu Enterprises, said: “iplicit's intuitive interface and comprehensive reporting tools will significantly streamline our financial processes, allowing us to generate accurate reports with greater efficiency.

“The flexibility and scalability of iplicit accounting software will be instrumental in supporting Beaulieu's growth, providing us with the detailed insights and control needed to make informed financial decisions.”

Beaulieu is a member of Visit England, Tourism South East, Hampshire Top Attractions, Treasure Houses of England and the Historic Houses Association.

iplicit was launched in 2019 with a mission to disrupt the accounting software market for medium-sized organisations.

It has won a string of awards, including Best Mid-Market and Enterprise Software at the Accounting Excellence Awards; Enterprise Accounting/ERP System of the Year at the AccountingWEB Best Products Awards; and FinTech of the Year at the Tech South West Awards

iplicit was ranked 18th among UK companies in the 2024 FT1000 list of Europe’s fastest-growing businesses. It also earned a top 10 place among the Sunday Times Best Places to Work

How it all works

iplicit’s architecture is quite special; it’s true cloud and only in the browser, but it looks and feels like a desktop application. No layer upon layer of tabs opening and probably the most intuitive navigation that you will find in the marketplace today. Take a look for yourself.
