Seamlessly switch to iplicit, a true-cloud accounting software solution for Access users

If you are currently using Access software, you may be considering the next step toward switching to a true-cloud accounting solution.  At the micro business end of the market, there are two dominant true-cloud offerings that serve small businesses very well.  Similarly, for much larger companies, the likes of Dynamics and NetSuite are compelling choices.  Though for the small to medium sized business with say, 30-500 staff, there are very few, cost effective, true-cloud systems to choose from. iplicit represents some of the best in SaaS, cloud-based accounting software for the small and medium-sized business, making it a suitable alternative to Access.

A system built for Access users

Over 40 years of development have been invested to ensure that iplicit software is not only a state-of-the-art, cloud-based offering, but is also a solution that is overwhelmingly sympathetic to the needs of the Access accounting software user. This results in a system that simultaneously recognises your frustrations with your current software while understanding the various nuances and features that made you love it.

Rather than ask you to change systems and learn an entirely new way of working, you will benefit from an immensely improved environment while feeling a reassuring level of familiarity.

Our alternative to Access software exploits all the benefits now facilitated through a true cloud-based architecture, that are just inaccessible by on-premise legacy solutions.

The original Exchequer team spent 17 years providing leading edge accounting software to thousands of organisations.  Now that cloud-based services facilitate significant opportunities over on-premise legacy solutions, they’ve joined forces again, with the specific intention of appealing to all those using on-premise, legacy software who are ready to take the next step and embrace the additional capabilities now afforded by modern technology.

Implementing and migrating from Access to iplicit is seamless

Migrating from Access to iplicit is easy because we have developed a streamlined process that ensures a seamless transition without the need for re-entering data. Our team of experts has extensive experience in migrating data from Access accounting software to iplicit.

We provide a dedicated project manager who works closely with your team to ensure that the implementation process is smooth and hassle-free. Our migration process includes several steps, such as data extraction, data mapping, data transformation, data validation, and data migration.

During the migration process, we ensure that all your data is securely transferred to iplicit. Our cloud-based software is highly scalable and can handle large amounts of data, making it especially suitable for small to medium-sized businesses.

In addition to our expertise and streamlined migration process, we also provide extensive training and support to ensure that your team is fully equipped to use iplicit effectively. Our user-friendly interface and customisable dashboards make it easy for your team to access the information they need to make informed business decisions. Migrating from Access to iplicit is a straightforward process that can be completed quickly and efficiently.

How does implementation work?

Onboarding

Onboarding

Our implementation and onboarding process is streamlined and process-driven to ensure we provide a positive experience to customers. Once we’ve implemented a client in one particular microsector, for example - University Student Unions - we record this process and map it out as it is likely the exact same sort of requirements as for other Student Unions. By accommodating to your needs and time scales, we can get things set up swiftly and do a phased implementation. On average, the whole process is just 16 days.

Data Transition

Data Transition

We then help you manage your data transition by providing guidance as to what data you need to bring across and provide import templates for all of your static data. At this point, it’s a great opportunity for you to review your data / cleanse anything you don’t want to bring across so you start with completely cleansed data. At this point, you can design the reports in whatever way suits you best.

The data transition is really important: iplicit is unique in that it has a data archive facility which allows users to bring across their old financial data, safely.
Once all the data is migrated we’ll create a ‘sandbox’ so you can start using the system with your data in it and test features.

Once iplicit’s software is set up, our consultants continue to support our customers through the changeover. This ensures that the first month end and management reports are completed before handing over to our Account Manager and Customer Support team.
