iplicit has revealed a major addition to its cloud accounting system with the launch of a powerful feature that will help its partners serve midmarket clients.
Client Manager is a central administration tool that allows accountants and other partners to easily administer and manage multiple clients through iplicit’s software.
The tool – which makes iplicit unique in its market – will be a major boost to accountants offering business process outsourcing (BPO) services. It was previewed to visitors at the Digital Accountancy Show in London.
Matt Lewns, Partner Manager for iplicit’s accountancy channel, says: “iplicit’s Client Manager is a powerful and flexible tool that will enable our partners to manage their midmarket clients from one place.
“It allows our partners to easily access their clients iplicit ‘environments’ without having to log in and out of different domains, remembering different usernames and passwords, and create or manage user profiles – all through the use of single sign-on.”
Client Manager will make life easier for accountancy practices in a host of ways:
- Practices can easily onboard users and assign them the right level of permission across the client base.
- New starters can be given access to multiple clients in bulk – and leavers can be just as easily removed.
- Practices can group and manage their clients by industry, office, manager or in any other way – with the same client existing in multiple groups.
- Live systems can be copied into sandbox environments and vice versa, to allow users to run tests or try new features without affecting live data.
- Data usage and counts for individual client environments can be viewed and monitored from within Client Manager to assist with audit and discrepancy identification.
- Practices are in control of what happens in Client Manager. They approve new users, grant them the appropriate level of access and control the set-up and use of new iplicit environments.
Matt Lewns adds: “Client Manager is a vital part of our product for accountancy practices looking to offer BPO services to their midmarket client base.
“Many of the UKs most progressive firms have already identified iplicit as the leading system of choice for midmarket organisations. Client Manager takes this a step further by allowing those practices to manage and administer those clients from a central platform, making iplicit uniquely powerful in its market.
“Client Manager was purpose-built for accountants offering BPO services but it will also prove to be immensely useful to iplicit’s implementation partners and resellers in due course.”
