Accountancy practices can take advantage of a massive and valuable growth opportunity when it comes to serving midmarket clients.
That will be the message at two sessions hosted by iplicit at the Alternative Accountancy Tech Summit on Thursday, 6 March, at Wyboston Lakes Resort, Bedfordshire.
iplicit will present a tech showcase event and host a round table session on the theme of Redefining the Midmarket – The Opportunity for Accountancy Practices.
An iplicit team will be at the venue for three days of connected events from 5-7 March – the Alternative Accountancy Management Summit, the Alternative Accountancy Audit Summit and the Alternative Accountancy Tech Summit.
Matt Lewns, Partner Manager at iplicit, says: “The midmarket represents a massive untapped growth opportunity for accountancy practices.
“These ambitious, dynamic, midmarket organisations are some of the most valuable and exciting clients a practice can have – but they’ve traditionally been some of the most difficult clients to serve.
“In the past, the absence of finance software designed with the midmarket business in mind has been a huge barrier. It has led some accountants to part company with some of their best clients as they grow.
“Our sessions at the Alternative Accountancy Tech Summit will take a practical look at this area of opportunity. We’ll examine how today’s systems can help accountants to be enablers of growth for their midmarket clients, doing high-value, strategic work and providing them with a host of professional services.”
The iplicit sessions will share insights into the market, vendor behaviour and the challenges faced by firms operating in the space. Speakers will show how accountants can create lasting partnerships as clients scale up.
Matt will lead iplicit’s tech showcase event on 6 March, while Nicki Savill, Partner at Moore Kingston Smith, will chair the round table discussion later in the day.
iplicit is a partner sponsor of the Alternative Accountancy Tech Summit, organised by Alternative Events.
