iplicit is strengthening its C-suite as it closes in on a sixth consecutive year of 100%-plus growth and is preparing for a seventh.

The accounting software platform now exceeds 30,000 daily users from over 2,000 customer logos, supported by 149 iplicit staff by December 2024.

Industry intel confirms that iplicit is now outpacing all other cloud accounting software vendors in the acquisition of customers, within the UK midmarket.

  • Damon Anderson, who presided over a period of significant growth as regional Chief Operating Officer at Xero, becomes Chief Marketing Officer at iplicit.
  • Paul Sparkes, industry veteran in accounting software (Exchequer, IRIS, OneAdvanced) takes the role of Chief Product Officer.
  • Scott Regnier, the “President-in-waiting” for a planned US launch in 2026, is Chief Sales Officer after 15 months as UK Head of Sales.

iplicit CEO Lyndon Stickley said: “iplicit now has an all-star C-suite team and a board that underpins our aspirations to reach £100m ARR in the next six years.

“We’re on an ascent to becoming the dominant provider in the UK market and we’re excited about another explosive year of growth in 2025.

“We are now deploying more systems annually than any other mid-market cloud accounting offering in the UK. I am confident that we will continue to onboard more new customers than every other alternative cloud proposition in our mid-market space, including Sage.

“We serve the organisations that have needs beyond entry level software like Xero but aren’t willing to accept the disruption and costs associated with products like NetSuite – and these organisations are crying out for a mid-market solution that’s powerful, yet low-disruption and affordable.”

New CMO Damon Anderson has worked for a succession of B2B and SaaS businesses including American Express, Worldpay and Xero. As Regional COO at Xero, he worked alongside UK Managing Director Gary Turner to scale the business from $30m to $300m over five years.

Anderson noted: “At iplicit, we have a wonderful product that customers love and we have an amazing culture with real energy and excitement. But we’re early in our journey and sometimes it seems like we’re the best-kept secret in the software space.

“My mission is to make the shift from iplicit being the best-kept secret to being top of mind for finance directors.”

Chief Sales Officer Scott Regnier will continue to lead UK sales as the company prepares for an American launch planned for mid-2026.

He has worked for B2B and SaaS businesses including Salesforce, Checkr, Inc and Check and been an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado, teaching entrepreneurship.  He previously worked with iplicit’s CEO and Chairman in a software startup, leading enterprise sales during massive growth in North America

He said: “The additions to the C-suite highlight the organisation’s commitment to iplicit's growing UK customer and partner base.

“I’m part of a team which includes some of the most talented people I’ve known in all my years in business. I continue to be impressed with the level of investment iplicit is making in both systems and people.”

Chief Product Officer Paul Sparkes has been a driving force behind iplicit, playing a pivotal role in bringing the platform to market and contributing significantly to its growth over the past six years.

He will lead the development of a dedicated product team focused on meeting the evolving needs of customers.

Sparkes commented: "I can't wait to join the brilliant iplicit product team and work with them to continue to deliver ground-breaking and productivity-enhancing features in the months and years ahead."
