FT1000: iplicit named amongst fastest-growing European businesses for second year in a row!

iplicit has been named by the Financial Times as one of Europe’s fastest-growing businesses.

The FT1000 list is published annually by the Financial Times and data research company Statista. This year’s list recognises European businesses for their outstanding performance, ranking them by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) between 2020 and 2023.

During this period, iplicit’s CAGR was 104.3%, marking its sixth year of triple-digit revenue growth and placing it within the top 50 of the UK companies listed. This is iplicit’s second year featuring on the FT1000 list, and the UK Top 50, highlighting the company’s impressive hypergrowth trajectory.

Launched in 2019, iplicit delivers a state-of-the-art cloud accounting solution to mid-market businesses that have outgrown basic, entry-level platforms or grown frustrated with legacy, ‘on-prem’ systems.

The company achieved 113% year-on-year (YoY) revenue growth in 2024 and to date has amassed more than 38,000 daily users spanning over 2,000 organisations. January 2025 saw iplicit secure a £25M investment from leading technology growth investor One Peak. This marked its first external institutional funding round, having previously been bootstrapped with £18.5M worth of personal investment by the management team. The investment is driving product development and future exponential growth, with iplicit aiming for another double in growth this year and an ARR of over £50M by 2028.

iplicit, which was recently named in the top 10 Sunday Times ‘Best Places to Work’, added 60 new staff members in 2024 and plans to bolster its team even further in 2025 with an additional 50 new hires.

How it all works

iplicit’s architecture is quite special; it’s true cloud and only in the browser, but it looks and feels like a desktop application. No layer upon layer of tabs opening and probably the most intuitive navigation that you will find in the marketplace today. Take a look for yourself.
