iplicit has hired another experienced marketer to support its reseller partners as they introduce potential customers to its award-winning cloud accounting software.
Taylor Stronge joins from Pinnacle, a business solutions provider that resells Sage and other big-name ERP products.
iplicit has identified channel partnerships as a vital part of its strategy for continuing its hypergrowth. It is on course for its sixth consecutive year of triple-digit percentage increases in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
Taylor said: “Having worked in a business that was a reseller of Sage Intacct, I could see how serious a competitor iplicit was going to be and how massive the opportunity was for it to grow.
“There are still a large number of organisations using on-premises products like Sage 200 and the demand for an affordable but powerful true cloud alternative is only going to increase.”
Many resellers have built substantial customer bases with on-premises products over the past 10-20 years or more.
Many face a challenge in continuing to serve that base, which has traditionally lacked a route to powerful cloud accounting software without a hefty price tag and disruptive implementation process.
Taylor says: “iplicit is building a network of resellers who share its commitment to quality software and first-class service.
“It’s determined that reseller partners should benefit from high quality marketing support. We can help them market iplicit in a way that is consistent with their own approach and branding but with the full backing of our in-house talent and resources.”
Taylor, an Ulster University marketing graduate, spent more than five years at Pinnacle, in a role that expanded from lead generation to encompass customer communications and handling all the company’s events and webinars.
“I became aware of iplicit some time ago when people started mentioning it as a serious competitor to Sage,” she said.
“I was aware iplicit had a great product and was disrupting the midmarket by offering a route to powerful true cloud accounting for customers who had been put off by the expense and complexity of the incumbent ERP systems.
“That makes it very attractive to resellers, many of whom have had a gap in their portfolios when it comes to serving customers who have been frustrated by their existing on-premises systems.
“iplicit sees its reseller channel as a vital part of its continued growth. It has its approach very well planned and resellers will benefit from iplicit’s total commitment to its partnerships.”
She added: “As well as its excellent product, I was aware of iplicit’s strong company culture, which has attracted some of the best talent from across the industry’s incumbent vendors. Regardless how big a company gets, you don’t ever want to feel like a number and iplicit focuses intensely on its staff and culture.”
