13th October, iplicit, London. Mid-market cloud-accounting software specialist, iplicit announces an initiative specifically aimed at helping UK non-profit organisations migrate from legacy finance software to a true-cloud accounting solution, without up-front installation and training costs.

iplicit Commercial Director, Paul Sparkes explains, “The non-profit sector is a core market for us and we are seeing a material increase in both interest expressed and sales being made, directly as a result of the pandemic and this challenges faced with financial resources having to work remotely. However, another result of the ‘new normal’ is that many organisations are rightly, applying a greater focus upon cash management during such uncertain times. And while upgrading an outdated server-based solution will provide a reduction in both IT and Cap-ex costs, typically, there is still a need for one-time implementation and training costs, when migrating to a monthly cloud solution.  As a result of feedback from a number of potential clients, iplicit has devised an offer for the non-profit sector only, that enables all implementation and training costs to be spread over the first year of monthly payments. This enables organisations to address directly, the challenges being faced by remote-working, yet preserve cash in the near-term.”

iplicit software features many charity-focused features, including Partial VAT, SORP and SOFA reporting, integration with donor management and membership systems. In addition, Trustee reporting, restricted and unrestricted funds management are also part of a wider Budget Management feature-set that has been tailored for non-profit clientele.

Sparkes concludes “The iplicit team comprises many of the original Exchequer Software team; the two founders and myself included, in addition to many of the original implementation consultants. We therefore have a deep knowledge of this sector having been responsible for over 300 implementations during the past three decades. iplicit represents our return to the Accounting software market, this time with a next generation true-cloud offering.”
